AzzuZu — CARE & WEAR

At AzzuZu, each piece is selected with intention and meant to be worn, lived in, and appreciated over time. Like all fine jewelry, it responds best to a gentle and thoughtful approach to care.

On Everyday Wear

Jewelry naturally interacts with the world around it. Elements such as perfume, lotions, oils, and humidity can gradually affect both metal finishes and the brilliance of stones.

We recommend applying fragrances and skincare before putting on your jewelry, and removing your pieces prior to showering, swimming, exercising, or cleaning.

Household cleaning products and chemical agents—though common—can be particularly harsh, and over time may lead to discoloration or surface wear.

Sterling Silver (.925)

Sterling silver carries a certain life to it. Over time, it may develop a soft tarnish when exposed to air, moisture, or certain elements.

Interestingly, silver that is worn often tends to maintain its brightness longer than pieces left unworn.

A gentle polish with a soft cloth and proper storage in a dry space will help preserve its natural luster.

This subtle evolution is part of the character of silver, not a flaw.

Gold Jewelry (10K & 14K)

Solid gold is enduring by nature, valued for its strength and resistance to tarnish.

With wear, it may develop fine surface marks or a soft buildup from daily contact.

A simple, occasional cleaning with a soft cloth—or mild soap and water when needed—will help maintain its warmth and finish.

Natural & Semi-Precious Stones

Each stone is inherently unique, formed over time and shaped by nature. Variations in color, texture, and structure are part of their identity.

Some stones are more delicate than others and may be sensitive to impact, moisture, or chemical exposure.

A gentle touch, avoiding harsh substances, and storing with care will help preserve their natural beauty.

Zirconia & Mounted Stones

Zirconia and other mounted stones are set with care, yet like all fine details, they benefit from mindful wear.

To maintain their clarity, we recommend avoiding impact and gently removing any buildup from everyday products with a soft cloth.

Cleaning & Maintenance

We believe in a restrained approach to care.

In most cases, a soft polishing cloth is all that is needed to restore shine and remove the traces of daily wear.

If additional cleaning is desired, a light rinse with mild soap and water may be used sparingly, followed by thorough drying.

We advise against the use of commercial jewelry cleaning solutions. Many contain aggressive or abrasive elements that can compromise delicate finishes and materials over time.

A simple approach will always preserve a piece more beautifully than an aggressive one.

Gold-Plated Stainless Steel

Gold-plated pieces are finished with a delicate layer of gold, giving them their warmth and tone.

With time and wear, this surface may gradually soften—particularly with exposure to water, friction, or chemicals.

To extend its life, we recommend avoiding prolonged moisture, removing pieces before contact with cleaning agents, and storing them with care.

This gentle evolution is natural to plated jewelry and part of its wear.

Storage

When not being worn, pieces are best kept in a dry, enclosed space, ideally within their original Azzuzu packaging or a soft-lined box.

Storing items separately will help prevent surface contact and preserve their finish.

Aging & Character

Over time, fine jewelry develops a quiet patina—subtle signs of wear that reflect its use and story.

These changes are not imperfections, but part of the piece’s character.

Final Note

Jewelry is meant to be worn, cared for, and lived in—gently evolving with time.
